Volunteer with the Great Baikal Trail
Volunteer with the Great Baikal Trail
For your next 2-week vacation what can you do that's really different?

Well, let's say that you might like to visit Baikal. You love being out in the wild. And you also like hanging out with new friends that you meet along the way. Maybe also you'd like to contribute something positive, to help us protect Baikal and all its beauty? What the heck, let's go even further and say that you want to get unplugged from the internet for a little while, and live in tents and eat around a campfire most nights. And perhaps you wouldn't mind working as part of a team of like-minded volunteers from all over the world.

If you are nodding your head as you read this, then we have a suggestion for you: why not come volunteer with us here at the lake. Every summer the Great Baikal Trail runs dozens of summer camps, building and improving park trails, expanding the first national system of trails in all of Russia. It's easy to sign up and volunteer.

Just visit the GBT site at: https://greatbaikaltrail.org/volunteer-projects.

Or take a look at all the projects for this year at: https://greatbaikaltrail.org/projects_gbt.

And if for some reason you are unlucky enough, and you can't visit us here in Siberia, perhaps you'd like to make a donation to the GBT, and help us as we build trails instead of roads around Lake Baikal: https://greatbaikaltrail.org/donate
